Concertino was awared the 1997 first prize for New Music from the American Soceity for Jewish Music.  It displays Harold's virtuosity.

The second movement of the 1963 String Quartet is an elegy in honor of Dag Hammaskhold, Nobel Peace Price Winner and former General Secretary of the United Nations who died in an airplance accident en route to negotiate a cease fire in Africa.
